Research Committee
The Research Committee is the body responsible for promoting, evaluating, disseminating and coordinating the research activity of the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Puerta de Hierro – Segovia de Arana, facilitating the establishment of collaborations between basic and clinical researchers from the different specialties.

Functions
- Advise the scientific management on IDIPHISA's research activity.
- Plan IDIPHISA's research and scientific policy.
- Define the priority lines of research within IDIPHISA.
- Ensure the maintenance and strength of the research policy and priority lines within IDIPHISA.
- Assess research projects to be submitted to competitive funding procedures, approving or rejecting their development.
- Establecer los criterios para la adjudicación de las ayudas a la investigación para grupos o investigadores adscritos al IDIPHISA.
- Monitor the research activity carried out within IDIPHISA, controlling its quality and its compliance with the ethical principles defined in the Code of Good Scientific Practice approved at IDIPHISA.
- Inform IDIPHISA's Management bodies about the suitability and appropriateness of acquiring scientific equipment.
