I Jornada Investigacion IDIPHISA

The Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Puerta de Hierro – Segovia de Arana (IDIPHISA) invites all healthcare staff and research groups from Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda and Hospital Universitario Infanta Cristina (IDIPHISA) to take part in the 1st IDIPHISA Research Conference, to be held on 14 October 2024 as part of the week of activities for the 60th Anniversary of Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda.
Attendance will be open to healthcare staff registered for the conference. The registration will be free and can be done through the Formación Sanidad Madrid app. Certificates of attendance and presentation of abstracts will be provided. Accreditation has been requested from the Continuing Education Commission for Healthcare Professions.
Se otorgarán 4 premios dotados con 250€ a las mejores comunicaciones y pósteres básicos y clínicos. Para optar a dichos premios el primer firmante debe ser un joven investigador de IDIPHISA y estar inscrito en la Jornada.

- Increase the dissemination of the different basic and clinical research projects carried out at our research institute.
- Promote synergies and facilitate possible collaborations between the different IDIPHISA research groups.
- Encourage the participation of young IDIPHISA researchers.

RULES FOR SUBMISSION OF SCIENTIFIC ABSTRACTS
- Abstracts must be submitted through the online abstract submission form available on the conference website.
- Only abstracts submitted through the online form will be evaluated. No other submission method is accepted.
- It is mandatory for the acceptance of the abstract that the first author be registered for the 1st IDIPHISA Research Conference.
- The first author must be a young (<40 years old) associate researcher (basic or clinical) from any of the centres affiliated with IDIPHISA.
- The first author is responsible for the oral or poster presentation of the abstract during the Conference.
- An author may appear as first signatory on only one abstract.
- Papers that have been presented at other conferences during the 12 months prior to the Conference will be allowed. The conference at which they were presented must be specified at the end of the abstract
- Abstracts will be accepted in Spanish or English.
- The structure of submitted abstracts will be as follows:
- Authors: First and last names. The number of authors is limited to ten.
- Affiliation: Clinical Department or Research Group, place of work and city.
- Title: in capital letters and with a maximum limit of 200 characters (including spaces).
- Content: The suggested order and sections are those usual in any scientific presentation: introduction, material and methods, results, conclusions and funding sources and/or acknowledgements. There is a maximum limit of 2,500 characters (including spaces). No bibliographic references, graphs or tables will be included in submitted abstracts.
Widely recognised abbreviations will be permitted, as well as others if they have been previously specified in the text.
- The scientific committee will evaluate the submitted abstracts and determine their acceptance or rejection, and in the case of acceptance, their selection for presentation during the Conference as an oral presentation or poster.
