The activity carried out by the Inflammatory Bowel Disease group focuses on research that is mainly clinical in nature, with some basic research contributions, both individually and in collaboration with other working groups in this field, such as the national Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis group (GETECCU).

We are currently starting a line of research in big data at the level of the Community of Madrid, being developed with other hospitals, to establish prognostic patterns of disease and therapeutic response.
