An eminently clinical research group, with strengths in the methodological and organisational area for the development of multicentre studies.

With extensive presence in national research networks:
• Integrated into REDInREN ISCIII, first as an Associated Clinical Group 2011-2013, and since 2016 as a Research Group in the CKD line.
• We coordinate the GCDP study group on clinical outcomes in Peritoneal Dialysis (22 National Centres) from 2008 to the present (a clinical working group funded via the Fundación Madrileña de Nefrología) with 12 indexed publications and a presence on the website http://somane.org/index.php
• Within the Transplant Working Group of the Spanish Society of Nephrology (SENTRA), we coordinate the study on transplantation after circulatory death (2012 to the present).
• We coordinate the SEN's Anaemia Working Group (GAS): Multiple publications, guidelines and position papers, as well as an active accredited course.
• Members of the Complement Pathology Working Group with Dr Santiago Rodríguez de Córdoba's group. We have coordinated two national studies on TMA in pregnant women (1st quartile publication in 2017) and TMA in kidney transplantation (currently in database follow-up
• Integrated into the Diabetic Nephropathy Study Group, as a participating centre in others' projects and developing our own.

Leaders in Clinical Management based on outcomes analysis: Coordination of the Nephrology Strategic Plan (Regional Ministry), Development of the Kidney Disease Registry (2008-Present), Studies sponsored by the Regional Ministry on indicators and outcomes.
