1. We have investigated the predictive value of various inflammatory markers in bronchoalveolar lavage in the progress of lung transplant recipients.
2. Our department has been a pioneer in designing audiovisual education programmes for lung transplant recipients.
3. En colaboración con el Servicio de Bioingeniería del Instituto de Salud Carlos III hemos desarrollado un proyecto de seguimiento con Telemedicina para el alta precoz de los pacientes con agudización de la EPOC. Dicho proyecto fue merecedor de dos becas FISS ya finalizadas.
4. Our group has actively participated in the development of management guidelines for lung diseases such as asthma, COPD and lung transplantation.
5. The Interstitial Lung Disease Unit has actively participated in various clinical trials on the usefulness of anti-fibrotic drugs.
