Scientific publications funding policy 2024

The guidelines of the Scientific Publications Funding Policy for 2024 are as follows:

  • The applicant must be listed as lead author(first signatory, last signatory or corresponding) of the publication and being a member of IDIPHISA.
  • Publications must be indexed according to the 2022 JCR in journals Open Access in Q1 y Q2.
  • Publications must not have alternative funding.
  • The expense must be incurred and paid in 2024.  
  • The invoice must be issued in the name of the Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro de Majadahonda in 2024. The invoice must include the following tax details:
    • NIF: G83726968
    • Legal Entity: Biomedical Research Foundation of the Puerta de Hierro Hospital in Majadahonda
    • Address: C/Joaquín Rodrigo 2, Laboratorios Building, floor 0, 28222 Majadahonda, Madrid
Doctoral theses funding policy 2024

Additionally, the award of an extra allocation has been approved to partially cover the cost associated with the publication of Doctoral Theses Read by members of IDIPHISA during 2024. The characteristics of these grants are as follows:

  • Maximum aid of €500 per applicant.
  • The PhD candidate must prove they were a member of IDIPHISA while undertaking the doctoral thesis.
  • Proof of the publication expenses must be provided.
  • The invoice must be issued in the name of the Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro de Majadahonda in 2024. The invoice must include the following tax details:
    • NIF: G83726968
    • Legal Entity: Biomedical Research Foundation of the Puerta de Hierro Hospital in Majadahonda
