The purpose of this action is to finance contracts for newly qualified doctors in the field of health sciences and technologies with the aim of:

• Promote the inclusion of young researchers of excellence in our Institution.
• To enhance the transfer of the results generated in research to clinical practice.

The contracts will be concluded between the selected postdoctoral researchers and the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Puerta de Hierro University Hospital in Majadahonda, hereinafter, FIBHUPHM.

 The call for Intensification grants will be open until 19 December 2025 at 15:00 (3:00 pm).

Grants Summary:

• The financial allocation paid by IDIPHISA will correspond to 75% of the total cost of the contract for each of the grants awarded (including the corporate contribution to Social Security). The other 25% will be borne by the Research Group benefiting from the grant. Any possible salary increases to be made will also be borne in the same percentage by IDIPHISA and the Research Group benefiting from the grant.
• The grants awarded will have a maximum duration of 1 year, which will be used to finance employment contracts, under the researcher contract modality, on a full-time basis, signed between the researcher and the FIBHUPHM. The duration of the grant may be extended by an additional 1 year, provided that there is budgetary availability at the FIBHUPHM.
• The maximum number of grants to be awarded shall be:
  • 1 for IDIPHISA Research Groups.
