LCRF RESEARCH GRANT ON DISPARITIES IN LUNG CANCER 2020. LUNG CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION
PRESENTACIÓN DE SOLICITUDES:
Desde el 01 de marzo hasta el 01 de mayo de 2020
RESUMEN DE LA CONVOCATORIA:
Convocatoria para la financiación de proyectos de investigación sobre la diferente probabilidad de padecer cáncer de pulmón entre diferentes grupos de población. Entre las temáticas de proyectos a financiar se encuentran las siguientes:
- Gender disparities in lung cancer burden.
- Causes and risk factors for lung cancer among never smokers.
- Influence of social and biological risk factors on lung cancer outcomes, access to and use of care, and quality of care.
- Genetic and gene-environment interactions.
- Interactions and contributions of multiple factors (e.g. smoking, genetics, environment, societal factors) to disparities in lung cancer outcomes.
- Contribution of healthcare access and quality to disparities in outcomes.
- Disparities related to other factors such as geography, socioeconomic status, and age.
REQUISITOS DE LOS SOLICITANTES
Podrán ser solicitantes aquellas personas vinculadas a instituciones sin ánimo de lucro de cualquier parte del mundo, que pertenezcan a alguna de las siguientes categorías:
- Estudiantes y becarios.
- Investigadores con o sin contrato permanente incluyendo profesores, personal científico y clínicos.
