Se establecen two categories<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Best Doctoral Thesis Award<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Summary of Rules for Best Research Papers Award<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    1.Award for the best research work:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Have been published between January 2025 and December 2025 -both inclusive- as \u00aboriginal articles\u00bb, \u201cshort originals\u201d or \u201cresearch letters\u201d. Submitted articles must be published in a 2025 issue; ahead-of-print publications are not accepted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • First or last signatory or senior author\/<\/strong>corresponding<\/strong> of the research paper within the list of authors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The evaluation will be carried out based on the Journal Citation Indicator<\/strong><\/em> 2024 of the journal in which the research paper was published. The Journal Citation Indicator is a new indicator incorporated in the JCR 2021 edition to measure all journals included in the JCR. It is a \u00abnormalised\u00bb metric that theoretically allows the comparison of journals between different categories. Its value represents the average impact of citations normalised by category for articles published over the three-year period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The following categories will be distinguished: Research staff born in 1981 or later, Research staff born before 1981.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • In each of the above categories, three levels (first, second and third prize) will be established for the best research papers of each category. The prize amounts will be as follows: First Prize: 2,000 \u20ac, Second Prize: 1,500 \u20ac, Third Prize: 100 \u20ac.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The same applicant may not submit more than one application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      2.Award for the collaboration article:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n

        Resumen Bases Mejores Tesis Doctorales<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

        Researchers who have defended their Doctoral Thesis, within the area of biomedical sciences, or areas of knowledge related to health sciences, in the period between January 2025 and December 2025 (both included).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1.Publications<\/strong>. Only publications related to the Candidate Thesis for the award will be included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • 7 points for a first-decile publication in which the doctoral candidate appears as main author.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • 4 points for a first-quartile publication in which the doctoral candidate appears as main author.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • 2 points for a second-quartile publication in which the doctoral candidate appears as main author.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • 1 point for a publication in other quartiles in which the doctoral candidate appears as main author.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • 2 points for a first-decile publication in which the doctoral candidate does not appear as main author.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • 1 point for a first-quartile publication in which the doctoral candidate does not appear as main author.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • 0.5 points for a second-quartile publication in which the doctoral candidate does not appear as main author.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • 0.25 points for a publication in other quartiles in which the doctoral candidate does not appear as main author.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
